How it works
1. We talk.
We start with a conversation about the two of you, your people, your sense of humor, and what you absolutely do—or don’t—want in your ceremony.
2. We build the ceremony.
Traditional, ridiculous, tender, participatory, theatrical, or some carefully calibrated combination.
3. We prepare.
Depending on the package, this can include planning calls, rehearsal support, coordination with your wedding party, and preparation of any surprises or audience participation.
4. You get married.
I officiate the ceremony, help hold the room, and make sure the funny parts serve the important part: the two of you getting married.
Pricing
Joyful Ceremony Steward — starting at $750
Personalized ceremony development and officiating. Best for couples who want an unconventional, warm and funny officiant without turning the entire event into immersive clown theatre.
Playful Ceremony & Welcome Host — starting at $1,250
Ceremony plus a larger Jusby presence around it: guest welcome, rehearsal support, additional planning, audience participation, noisemaker orchestration, planned surprises or confederates, reception transition, and other collaboratively designed moments.

Full Clown Wedding Collaborator — starting at $2,000–$2,500
For couples who want Jusby woven substantially into the wedding experience, with deeper creative development, expanded performance/hosting, custom interactions and more extensive planning.
Travel outside the Portland area, unusually long events, extensive rehearsal or custom fabrication may be quoted separately. A 50% deposit reserves the date.
