A Pocket Oracle is not a toy. It’s a short ritual, a social permission slip, and a shared physical moment—folded into paper.
Jusby approaches people wordlessly (or nearly so) and offers them a choice: Do you want to try your luck?
What follows is a brief, embodied game that breaks the ice, invites consent-forward play, and ends with a simple directive to perform.
Each Pocket Oracle is designed, printed, and hand-folded by Jusby. Many are themed to specific events, seasons, or communities. All are meant to be used in the moment—and kept as a souvenir of that interaction.
How It Works (Live Play)
- Choose an image on the outside.
Jusby spells the name theatrically—often exaggerating syllables rather than letters.
Ro–oo–suh. Ma–aa–nuh. A–aa–pple. - Open and close the Oracle as the name is spoken.
- Pick a number three times.
Jusby guides the motion. The rhythm matters more than precision. - “Last one’s your fortune.”
You open the final flap and perform what’s inside.
The fortunes are prescriptive but optional: gestures, sounds, movements, tiny dares. Always light. Always consensual. Often funny. Occasionally intimate.
