Thanks for the pie in the face, it made my day. I was conflicted about it at first, but then realized it was a tasty wonderful treat. One that I found remnants of in my ear the next day.

I remember thinking, there was a little bit of a cult following, it seemed like people were interested in what you were doing, what you were saying, thinking… It seems like in every picture I’ve ever seen of you, there’s always someone laughing. And I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t want that… but you put yourself out there.

At first I could not believe I was really going to do it, ( you know get hit with a pie in the face) I was then excited to have the pie in my face but then I remembered what it was like to get out of a HUGE ice cream float one time and was hoping the clean up would not be as bad. And the next day I could still smell the sweet cream in my nose…. That must have caused me to have sweet dreams of fluff all night!

His jokes were funny and appropriate; his presence was enjoyed by all. There was even the classic ‘pie in the face’ that got the adults and kids even more hysterical with laughter. Justin B. Wright, 37, of Tumwater, dressed in the polka-dot shirt, heart-shaped sunglasses and face paint he dons when performing as Jusby the Clown. He also brought his son, 2-year-old Orion, to the protest.
“Humor relaxes people,” he said as a half-dozen other clowns marched in mock goose-steps, carrying signs that razzed the neo-Nazis. “I think showing nonsense is the sanest way to cope with it.”
