After I wrote the Salsa So Cheap I made some nachos. Then we went to pick Trish up. I asked if she wanted nachos.
She said, “Yes, but we need to get some different salsa. I hate that kind you got.”
“Well, we have to stop for toilet paper anyway.”
“And bread,” she said.
So we stopped at Safeway.

Orion’s recently enjoyed watching Caillou. In one episode, his mom suggests making up a song to remember their shopping list.
Orion remembered that it went like this, “Toilet paper, light bulbs, socks for Rosie, crayons.”
In our case, “Toilet paper, sprout bread, salsa and some browsing!”
I’m appreciating the stores where we usually shop. We chose Safeway that evening because they don’t have a big toy section like Fred Meyer. However, they also stopped carrying any ecological version of toilet paper.
